Honors Senator Thomas J. Wyss upon his retirement from the Indiana State Senate after serving his district for almost 30 years.

Recognizes his military service in the Indiana Air National Guard since 1966, retiring as a lieutenant colonel in 1997, and his legislative focus on veterans affairs, including creating the Indiana Commission on Military and Veterans Affairs and authoring the state's most comprehensive military veterans' benefits legislation in 2007.

Acknowledges his authorship of legislation requiring seat belts, prohibiting texting while driving, and lowering the state's drunk driving law limit to 0.08 after an 11-year effort.

Notes his receipt of the 2013 Charles Dick award, Indiana Disabled American Veterans "Legislator of the Year" award in June 2013, and the Indiana American Legion Distinguished Public Service Award in July 2013.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to Senator Wyss and his family.
