Legislative Description

Article V Convention lawsuits. Authorizes the speaker of the house of representatives and the president pro tempore of the senate to employ one or more attorneys necessary to initiate a lawsuit against the appropriate parties, including the Congress of the United States, the federal government, a state, or any other necessary party, relating to the calling of, the refusal to call, or any other matter relating to a convention held under Article V of the Constitution of the United States.
