Recognizes the 90th consecutive Parade of Bands Pageant occurring on Sunday, May 24, 2015, during prerace activities at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway before the 99th Indianapolis 500 race.

Acknowledges the Parade of Bands has been part of Indianapolis 500 prerace ceremonies since its 1922 debut, directed by W. S. Mitchell of the Indianapolis Military Band.

Notes that approximately 178,000 musicians from various bands have participated in the pageant over the years, taking approximately 961 million steps around the racetrack.

Applauds the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Purdue University bands and orchestras for organizing the Parade of Bands and providing opportunities for thousands of musicians to participate in an international event.

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House to transmit a copy of the resolution to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Professor Jay S. Gephart, Al G. Wright Chair of University Bands at Purdue University.
