Indiana General Assembly honors Hugh Brown, retired president and chief executive officer of BAMSI, Inc., an engineering and technical services company he founded in 1978

BAMSI, Inc. provided engineering and technical launch services at Kennedy Space Center for shuttle programs and served as prime center support contractor at Marshall Space Flight Center, Ames Research Center, and major Defense Department installations domestically and internationally

Hugh Brown served in the United States Air Force and holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and industrial engineering from Central State University in Ohio

Hugh Brown has received numerous awards including Small Business Administration's 8(a) Graduate of the Year, Florida Entrepreneur of the Year, and Small Business Person of the Year in 1985, and has over 30 years of industry executive management experience
