Recognizes nine Indiana schools awarded the National Blue Ribbon Schools Award in Fall 2014: Cedarville Elementary School (Fort Wayne), East Elementary School (Portland), Frank H. Hammond Elementary School (Munster), Hamilton Southeastern Junior High School (Fishers), Jackson Township Elementary School (Brazil), Merle Sidener Gifted Academy (Indianapolis), St. Patrick School (Chesterton), Signature School (Evansville), and Sprunica Elementary School (Nineveh)

Congratulates students, parents, faculty, staff, and administration members at these schools for their pursuit of educational excellence

Notes the National Blue Ribbon Schools Award program has recognized approximately 7,000 American schools since its inception in 1982

The award recognizes schools demonstrating excellence in leadership, teaching, student environment, curriculum and instruction, parent and community support, and organizational vitality

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit a copy of the resolution to the principal of each of the nine awarded schools
