West Side Nut Club was founded on March 16, 1921, by businessmen and merchants from Evansville's west side to advocate for the area's interests.

Club currently has 300 members and hosts an annual Fall Festival that attracts approximately 250,000 attendees and features free entertainment, over 126 food booths, carnival attractions, and a parade considered one of the largest street festivals in the country.

Club donates between $200,000 and $225,000 annually to the community, with an estimated total of approximately $5,000,000 since its founding, primarily supporting schools and organizations including parks and recreation, homeless shelters, police and fire departments, and medical charities.

Indiana House of Representatives acknowledges the West Side Nut Club's contributions to those in need and urges continued community improvement efforts.

Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives shall transmit copies of the resolution to the West Side Nut Club.
