Legislative Description
Teacher performance assessment. Requires, before April 1, 2016, the department of education to develop, and the state board of education to approve, a method for measuring student growth throughout the school year to be used to evaluate a certificated employee as part of the school corporation's staff performance evaluation plan. Requires a school corporation's staff evaluation plan to be based upon, in part, student growth during the school year.
