Carmel High School Greyhounds girls swim team won its 29th consecutive state championship on February 14, 2015, officially tying the national record for most consecutive state titles in all sports.

Team won 9 of 11 swimming events at the state meet, broke national records in all three relays, and scored 445 points—the most points ever earned in the 41-year history of Indiana's state meet.

Set 13 state records in less than 24 hours, with relay times also establishing national age-group (15-18) records, an extreme rarity in high school competition.

Swimmers Amy Bilquist and Claire Adams each won two races and competed on two relays; Emma Nordin won the 500 freestyle and finished 1-2 with Adams in the 200 freestyle.

Secretary of the Senate directed to transmit copies of the resolution to team members, Head Coach Chris Plumb, assistant coaches, school principal John Williams, and superintendent Dr. Nicholas Wahl.
