Establishes that epilepsy is a neurological disorder affecting more than 65 million people worldwide, with one in 26 people developing the condition and one in ten experiencing a seizure in their lifetime

Notes that approximately 80 percent of individuals with epilepsy can lead a normal life with either no seizures or significant seizure reduction through drug therapy, surgery, and other non-pharmacological treatments

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Drake Abramson
