• School corporations may adjust cash benefit amounts to account for increased employer expenses, including payroll taxes and worker's compensation insurance premiums resulting from participant selections.

• The state department must assist school corporations with compliance through model plan documents, checklists, memoranda, and in-person or video presentations for officials and employees.

• The bill becomes effective July 1, 2016.
