Legislative Description
Local public questions. Provides that, for an election held after December 31, 2017, a local public question may not be placed on the ballot at an election held during the year after a presidential election year. Provides that if another Indiana statute permits or requires a local public question to be placed on the ballot at an election held during the year after a presidential election year, the public question shall be placed on the ballot at the next primary or general election held during the following even-numbered year, as determined by the county election board.
