Reduction of government plan review. Eliminates duplicative fee based plan reviews for construction of Class 1 structures. Creates a streamlined plan review process that allows either of the following, but not both, to perform a fee based plan review: (1) The division of fire and building safety (division). (2) A political subdivision certified in accordance with objective criteria adopted by the fire protection and building safety commission (commission).
