• Removes the requirement for manufacturers to maintain a service agreement with an independent security firm to certify compliance with security standards.

• Effective July 1, 2016; maintains other safety requirements including clean room operations, child-proof caps, tamper evident packaging, ingredient labeling, and batch tracking.
