Congratulates Indiana University Southeast on its 75th anniversary, marking 75 years since its founding in 1941 as an extension center of Indiana University.

Institution grew from an extension center in Jeffersonville (1941) to Indiana University Southeast (1968) and relocated to New Albany in 1973; now serves 9 Indiana counties and 5 Kentucky counties with approximately 6,000 enrolled students and 500 faculty members.

Economic impact on Indiana includes $124.4 million overall economic impact, 1,476 jobs, $6.5 million annually in state and local tax revenue, and $7.8 million in additional impact through charitable donations and volunteer services.

Institution operates 180-acre campus with 5 residence halls housing 400 students, more than 100 student organizations, 7 NAIA athletic teams, and offers more than 50 graduate and undergraduate programs including the internationally recognized Shyness Research Institute.

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit a copy of the resolution to Chancellor Ray Wallace.
