Documents Cotton's career achievements including service as chief test pilot for the Air Force, pilot of the XB-70 Valkyrie, and 13 years as an engineering flight test pilot for United Airlines flying 84 different aircraft types for over 15,800 flight hours

Acknowledges Cotton's numerous military and aviation honors including 1966 Pilot of the Year, Legion of Merit, Air Medal, and Air Force Commendation Medal
