Indiana General Assembly congratulates the Brown County Junior High School "We the People" team for winning the 2015-2016 state championship on December 15, 2015, marking their sixth consecutive state championship win.

Brown County team will represent Indiana in the "We the People" Middle School National Invitational scheduled for April 29 through May 3, 2016.

"We the People" program is developed by the Center for Civic Education and funded by the U.S. Department of Education to promote civic responsibility and competence in students in grades 4-12.

Indiana General Assembly wishes the team members continued success in all future endeavors and directs the Principal Clerk of the House to transmit copies of the resolution to all 22 team members, coach Michael Potts, and principal Brian Garman.
