Representative Tim Harman, first elected to House District 17 in 2012, is leaving the House Chamber at the end of the 2016 legislative session.

Served as vice chairman of the Employment, Labor and Pensions Committee and as a member of the Commerce, Small Business and Economic Development Committee and Government and Regulatory Reform Committee.

Founded and serves as acting president of Harman Restaurants, Inc., owning three Subway franchises and four company-branded pizzerias.

Active in civic organizations including Kiwanis, local chambers of commerce, Marshall County Right to Life, and St. Paul's Lutheran Church; also works with Special Olympics of Indiana and advocates for charitable donations to public schools.

The Indiana House of Representatives bids farewell to Representative Harman and directs the Principal Clerk to transmit copies of this resolution to him and his family.
