Honors Representative John Price, who represented House District 47 from 2012 until his departure at the end of the 2016 legislative session.

Price served on the Financial Institutions Committee, Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee, and chaired the Local Government Committee during his tenure.

Prior service included six years in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant, 20 years as Chief Deputy with the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, and various roles including SWAT team leader and helicopter pilot.

Held multiple positions in Johnson County government including Director of Highway and Engineering, Fleet Management Director, Board of Commissioners Chairman, County Council member, and Johnson County Republican Party Chairman.

Indiana House of Representatives bids farewell to Representative Price and directs the Principal Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to Representative Price and his family.
