Representative Randy Truitt is leaving the Indiana House of Representatives at the end of the 2016 legislative session after being first elected to House District 26 in 2008.

Served as a member of the Local Government Committee, Government and Regulatory Reform Committee, and Ways and Means Committee, where he chaired the Higher Education Subcommittee.

Also served two terms on the West Lafayette City Council, where he worked to fully fund city employee pensions, hosted a Tax Increment Financing workshop, and stabilized the city's tax rate.

Has been active in numerous community organizations including Big Brothers and Big Sisters, United Way of Greater Lafayette, West Lafayette Little League, and multiple Purdue-related groups.

Principal Clerk of the House is directed to transmit copies of this resolution to Representative Truitt and his family.
