• Urges the legislative council to assign to the public health, behavioral health, and human services committee topics concerning hospital immunizations for interim study.

• Directs the study committee to examine whether hospitals should conduct immunizations in accordance with recommendations from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

• Requires the study committee to investigate which individuals must be immunized if hospitals conduct immunizations and what exceptions to immunization requirements should be granted.

• Directs the study committee to examine other issues concerning immunizations related to patient safety and safety of individuals receiving immunizations.

• Requires the study committee to report findings and recommendations to the legislative council by November 1, 2016, with the section expiring January 1, 2017.
