Jackie Young, a senior at Princeton High School, became Indiana's all-time leading high school basketball scorer with 3,268 points, surpassing former record holder Damon Bailey of Bedford North Lawrence.

Young surpassed Shanna Zolman's women's basketball scoring record of 3,085 points and averages 37.8 points per game as a 6-foot guard.

Young signed with the University of Notre Dame in November and is ranked number 11 prospect for the 2016 espnW HoopGurlz Top 100 and number five recruiting prospect overall.

Young maintains a 3.9 GPA, was named a McDonald's All American, and is ranked number one wing player on ProspectsNation.com.

The Indiana General Assembly congratulates Young for her record-breaking achievements, and the Secretary of the Senate shall transmit a copy of the resolution to Young and Princeton High School Principal Steve Hauger.
