Indiana General Assembly honors Becky Bonham for her service as Executive Director of the Studebaker National Museum since 2001, currently in her 14th year of leadership.

Bonham secured funding and oversaw design and construction of the Studebaker National Museum at its Chapin Street location and achieved American Alliance of Museums accreditation in 2007.

Museum under Bonham's leadership conserved eight priceless vehicles through a National Parks Service grant, including five Presidential Carriages and a carriage owned by President Abraham Lincoln used on his last ride.

Bonham developed educational programs including the Tire Rack Super Center interactive children's exhibit and converted the former "Jelly Bar" into the Studebaker Archives building in 2009 with Federal Transportation Agency grants.

Bonham has received 12 NAAMY awards from the National Association of Automotive Museums, the Athena Award from the Chamber of Commerce, the Governor's Award for Excellence in Services, and recognition as a Sagamore of the Wabash.
