Honors the Chesterton High School Debate Team for winning their 26th state championship at the Indiana High School Forensic Association (IHSFA) Championship Tournament with a score of 97 to West Lafayette's 85.5.

Recognizes the debate program was established in 1967 and this is the team's 17th championship win in the last 20 years.

Acknowledges specific achievements across multiple debate categories: Public Forum Debate runners-up and third-place finishers, four Congressional Debaters advancing to final round with placements ranging from 4th to 15th overall, and Policy Debate state champions Tim Vincent and Joel Peterson.

Lists 29 team members and coaching staff including coaches Chris Lowery, Joshua Coots, and Dakota McCoy; Principal Jeffrey Van Drie; and Superintendent Dr. David Pruis of Duneland Schools.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Coach Chris Lowry, the debate team, and Chesterton High School.
