Honors the Marian University Football Knights for winning the 57th Annual NAIA Football National Championship on December 13, 2012, in Rome, Georgia, and the 60th Annual NAIA Football National Championship on December 19, 2015, in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Recognizes the team's leadership including head coach Mark Henninger, Athletic Director Steve Downing, Executive Vice President and Provost Thomas J. Enneking, and President Daniel J. Elsener.

Notes that Marian University was founded as Marian College in Indianapolis in 1937, became Marian University in 2009, and established its football program in 2006.

Acknowledges the Knights' support from Marian University's student body of more than 2,700 full-time students, faculty, staff, alumni, Board of Trustees, and the Indianapolis community.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to the Marian University Football Knights and Coach Mark Henninger.
