Indiana Senate congratulates Whiting High School's Science Olympiad Team for their exceptional academic achievements and competitive success.

Team placed 2nd in the 2013-2014 state tournament and qualified for their first-ever National Tournament in Florida, competing against 60 of the best teams in the nation.

During the 2014-2015 school year, students earned countless medals and became state champions in four events: Mission Possible, Experimental Design, Scrambler, and Wright Stuff.

Science Olympiad is a nationally-based team competition where 15 students compete in 23 different science events covering various disciplines including study-based and hands-on engineering components.

Senate Secretary directed to transmit copies of the resolution to 29 named team members and two coaches (Dan Nichols and Jeremy Long).
