Robert "Bob" Quinn was born in Anderson, Indiana, on September 4, 1930, and passed away on December 28, 2015.

Quinn graduated from Anderson High School and attended Anderson College and Indiana University at Fort Wayne before serving as an information specialist in the United States Air Force during the 1950s.

Quinn worked as a reporter and managing editor for the Anderson Daily Bulletin until 1974, when he transitioned to a public relations career at Guide Division of General Motors in Anderson.

Quinn served as a volunteer board member for multiple organizations including Cerebral Palsy, Anderson Public Library, Visiting Nurse, Crime Stoppers, Rotary Club, United Way, Visitors & Convention Bureau, and the Madison County Historical Society.

The Indiana Senate memorializes Quinn's life and dedication to community service, with the Secretary of the Senate directed to transmit a copy of the resolution to his daughters Lou Ann Quinn and Linda Manderson, grandson Andrew Funk, and great-grandson Deklen Funk.
