Honors Senator James Arnold for 50 years of public service in law enforcement and the Indiana Senate (2007-2016).

Recognizes Arnold's law enforcement career including 36 years with LaPorte County Sheriff's Office, where he served as Deputy, Sergeant, Captain, Chief Deputy, and Sheriff (elected 1999), and his attendance at FBI National Academy and other professional development programs.

Acknowledges Arnold's statewide and national leadership roles including former President of the Indiana Sheriff's Association and service on the National Sheriff's Association Board of Directors.

Notes Arnold received a Sagamore of the Wabash from Governor Joseph Kernan in 2004, 2008 Legislator of the Year from the Indiana License Beverage Association, 2012 Legislator of the Year from the Disabled Veterans of America, and Indiana Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Champion Award.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Senator Arnold.
