Notes that the Fulton County Historical Society honors different Potawatomi families each year with Trail of Death or Indiana treaty connections, with the 2016 festival honoring John "Rocky" Barrett, chairman of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
