Legislative Description

Probation officers' body cameras. Provides that a court may allow a probation officer to use a body worn camera in the performance of the probation officer's official duties. Provides that disclosure and retention of a probation officer's body camera recordings are subject to the rules of the Indiana supreme court. Requires that the minimum standards of the board of directors of the judicial conference of Indiana concerning the disclosure and protection of probation records must include standards concerning a probation officer's body worn camera recordings.
