Urges the Indiana Department of Transportation to rename the portion of U.S. Highway 231 from Interstate Highway 69 to Bloomfield as the "Donald W. Dean Memorial Highway"

Honors former Indiana House Representative Donald W. Dean, who served in the legislature for 12 years beginning in 1978 and served on committees including Roads and Transportation, Public Policy, County and Townships, Natural Resources, and as chairman of Veterans' Affairs

Recognizes Dean's military service as a technical sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II in Tunisia, Sicily, and Italy, earning six medal stars

Credits Dean with instrumental legislative accomplishments including the Grandparents' Visitation Law, initiating red and blue lights on police vehicles, securing funding for the Veterans Bridge, expanding State Road 37 to four lanes, and overseeing creation of circuit and superior courts in Greene County

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House to transmit a copy of the resolution to Dean's family and the Indiana Department of Transportation Commissioner
