Congratulates the Daleville High School baseball team on winning the Class A state championship with a 21-9 record, the school's first state championship in any sport.

Recognizes senior pitcher Brandon Vermillion for throwing a complete-game shutout in the championship game (4-0 victory over Lanesville) and winning the L. V. Phillips Mental Attitude Award.

Highlights key performances including TJ Price's lead-off home run in the fourth inning and Elliott Jackson's bases-loaded hit in the fifth inning that scored three runs and gave him 38 RBIs for the season.

Notes that the championship game marked the 400th win for head coach Terry Turner.
