FFA national organization was established in 1928, Indiana FFA in 1929, with National FFA encompassing 50 states and two U.S. territories representing 629,327 members and 7,757 local chapters, and Indiana FFA having more than 11,500 members and 204 chapters.

Indiana General Assembly recognizes FFA as an integral part of agricultural education both locally and nationally.

FFA's motto "Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve" focuses on individual student achievement in premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.

FFA Week started in 1947 as an opportunity for members, alumni, and sponsors to advocate for agricultural education and will be celebrated February 21-28.

Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives shall transmit a copy of the resolution to seven Indiana FFA state officers including president Jessica Mars, secretary Chaela Minor, and five other regional officers.
