Notes that more than 1,600 motorsports companies are based in Indiana, including major professional racing teams such as Andretti Racing, Schumacher Racing, and Vance and Hines

States that according to a Purdue University study, the motorsports industry contributes more than 23,000 jobs to the state with an average annual wage of nearly $63,000 and is indirectly responsible for 421,000 jobs

Recognizes Indiana as the "Racing Capital of the World" hosting premier motorsports events at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway including the Indianapolis 500, Brickyard 400, and Red Bull Indianapolis MotoGP, as well as the NHRA Drag Racing U.S. Nationals

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit copies of the resolution to the director of automotive and motorsports development for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation
