Honors WDSO-FM, the Chesterton High School student-run radio station, on the occasion of its 40th anniversary of creation since November 24, 1976

Recognizes the station as a noncommercial, educational radio station owned by the Duneland School Corporation and operated by high school students enrolled in broadcasting classes

Documents the station's history including its original 1974 FCC license approval, initial broadcast at 10 watts on 89.1 FM, and 1985 power increase to 400 watts on 88.3 FM serving approximately 150,000 residents

Acknowledges the station's role as a training ground providing broadcasting experience to countless students and serving the Duneland community with daily programming, sports, and news broadcasts

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House to transmit copies of the resolution to school officials, board members, and current station staff members
