Concurrent resolution recognizing the Constructing Our Future (COF) program, which was conceived and developed by women enrolled in a public policy class at the Indiana Women's Prison.

Program provides a pathway for current and formerly incarcerated people to reintegrate into society with basic skills to build, repair, and revitalize abandoned homes and neighborhoods.

Participants must accumulate an estimated total of 5,000 participation and service hours in order to obtain their own homes.

Program helps participants become independent, law-abiding citizens who give back to communities while reducing recidivism and rebuilding neighborhoods.

Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives shall transmit a copy of the resolution to the commissioner of the Indiana Department of Correction.
