Recognizes Muffet McGraw as the only male or female three-time consensus National Coach of the Year (2001, 2013, 2014) and seven-time conference Coach of the Year who led Notre Dame to 24 NCAA Tournament trips, 7 Final Fours, and 1 National Championship in 2001

Recognizes George McGinnis as a six-time all-star who averaged 25.2 points and 12.9 rebounds per game in the ABA, won two ABA championships with the Indiana Pacers (1972, 1973), and made the All-NBA First Team in 1976

Recognizes Tom Jernstedt for 38 consecutive years with the NCAA (1972-2010) including service as executive vice president and president (2001-2004), and his role in developing the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House to transmit a copy of the resolution to each honoree
