Urges Indiana citizens to recognize National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) on January 9, 2018, and honor law enforcement officers integral to Indiana's way of life.

Acknowledges that more than 780,000 law enforcement officers nationwide put on a badge daily facing extremely dangerous situations.

Notes that over the past 20 years, an average of 163 officers have died annually in the line of duty, with 50,000 officers assaulted and 14,000 injured each year.

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit a copy of the resolution to the National Fraternal Order of Police.
