Union Elementary School of the Zionsville Community Schools Corporation received a National Blue Ribbon award from the U.S. Department of Education in 2016, one of only 328 schools nationwide to receive this honor.

The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high schools where students perform at very high levels or where significant improvements are made in academic achievement.

The Indiana House of Representatives congratulates Union Elementary School on its 2016 Blue Ribbon selection and urges the school to continue reaching for excellence.

The Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to transmit a copy of the resolution to Principal Jennifer Raycroft and Superintendent Dr. Scott Robison.
