Honors the Indiana Library Federation for 125 years of service to Indiana, recognizing the organization's origins in 1891 when the Assistant Director of the Indiana State Library and eight librarians created the Library Association of Indiana.

Acknowledges legal mergers over the past century between the Indiana Library Association, Indiana Library Trustee Association, Academic Libraries of Indiana, and Association of Indiana School Library Educators that strengthened the Indiana Library Federation.

Recognizes that Indiana's public, school, academic, and special libraries maintain over 100 million print, non-print, and digital collections and provide over 180 million annual searches through the INSPIRE shared databases.

Notes Indiana has one of the highest library user rates in the country and that the Indiana Library Federation initiated steps during the State's Bicentennial year to lead Indiana's library community into the future.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Lucinda Nord, Executive Director of the Indiana Library Federation.
