Indiana State Bar Association Leadership Development Academy empowers lawyers to serve as role models in ethics and professionalism in bar associations, communities, and organizations.

LDA Class of 2017 is the 6th annual class consisting of 25 Indiana lawyers admitted to practice for 15 years or less, selected from around the state.

LDA incorporates professional facilitators and prominent leaders including Indiana Supreme Court Justices, Court of Appeals judges, executive and legislative officials, and business and military leaders to teach leadership principles and techniques.

February 13-14, 2017 marks an LDA session focused on local and state government featuring tours of the Indiana Statehouse, Birch Bayh Federal Building, and U.S. Courthouse, along with discussions with Indiana legislators and oral arguments.

Indiana Senate recognizes the importance of LDA education and directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of this resolution to the Indiana State Bar Association Leadership Development Academy and its sixth annual class members.
