Indiana Senate expresses sincere appreciation to the Indiana State Medical Association and the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians for coordinating and operating the "Doctor of the Day" program at the Indiana Statehouse.

Physicians assembled by these organizations provided basic check-ups to Indiana State Senate legislators and staff during the First Regular Session of the 120th General Assembly (2017).

Numerous doctors donated their time to the program, which supports maintaining a healthy, productive, and efficient legislature.

Secretary of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of the resolution to Dr. Thomas Whiteman (President of the Executive Committee of the Indiana State Medical Association), Dr. Bernard Richard (President of the Executive Committee of the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians), and each participating doctor.
