Legislative Description
County highway engineer's salary. Increases the state subsidy for a county highway engineer's annual salary. Requires the county to certify to the auditor of state the amount of the county's contribution to the county highway engineer's annual salary. Provides that a county may not receive such a subsidy unless the county's contribution to the engineer's annual salary is at least equal to the county's contribution to the engineer's annual salary from the preceding year. Makes an appropriation.
