Legislative Description
Small employer employee assistance program. Provides that an employee of a small employer in a county in which a public health emergency has been declared under the syringe exchange program is entitled to access without cost to the same extent and on the same basis as a state employee any employee assistance program offered to state employees by the state personnel department. Requires the department of workforce development to pay the costs of providing these services using federal or state funds available to the department.
