The Indiana General Assembly recognizes the Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame and honors its 2017 inductees for their bravery and dedication to military service.

The Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame was founded in 2013 with the objective to publicly emphasize the honor brought to Indiana and the nation by the sacrifice of military veterans and their families.

The 2017 class includes 16 inductees: Command Sergeant Major Jerry O. Blake, Lieutenant Colonel Dale R. Crafton, First Lieutenant George C. Ferkes, Sergeant William T. Freeman, Brigadier General Benjamin Harrison, Colonel James H. Kasler, Captain Walker M. "Bud" Mahurin, Lieutenant General Thomas M. Montgomery, First Lieutenant Larry R. Moore, Private First Class William H. Myers, Walter J. A. Palmer, Captain Philip W. Patrick, Gunnery Sergeant Nicholas A. Popaditch, Justice Robert D. Rucker Jr., First Lieutenant Richard M. Storm, and Frederick A. Taylor Jr.

The Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives shall transmit a copy of this resolution to the Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame and each of the 2017 inductees.
