Indiana General Assembly acknowledges and thanks volunteer firefighters for 50 years of dedicated service protecting homes and communities from fire threats.

Resolution recognizes the bravery, sacrifice, and commitment of volunteer firefighters who risk their lives daily and forsake time with family to respond to emergencies.

Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives directed to transmit copies of the resolution to over 100 named volunteer firefighters and fire departments across Indiana.

Resolution honors specific individuals from departments including Porter Volunteer Fire Department, Schererville Fire Department, Bremen Volunteer Fire Department, and numerous other township and community volunteer fire departments throughout the state.
