The Indiana House of Representatives congratulates College Wood Elementary School of the Carmel Clay Schools corporation on its 2017 designation as a National Blue Ribbon School.

College Wood Elementary School was one of only 342 schools nationwide to receive the National Blue Ribbon Schools award in 2017.

The school was recognized as an Exemplary High Performing School for demonstrating high academic proficiency and high student performance levels.

The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high schools where students perform at very high levels or where significant academic improvements are being made.

The Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to transmit a copy of this resolution to Principal Kathy Olssen.
