Warren Central High School Winter Guard won first place at the Winter Guard International Japan Regional Championship and served as WGI Sport of the Arts United States ambassadors as the first high school winter guard to perform in Japan.

25 Warren Central students competed as United States ambassadors at the international event featuring color guards, percussion ensembles, and winds groups.

Warren Central is a perennial Scholastic World Class Championship finalist since 2008, a silver medalist in Scholastic Open Class in 2007, and has competed in regional contests throughout Florida, Nevada, and New Jersey over the past five years.

The Winter Guard is an eight-time Tri-State champion and five-time Indiana state champion, and participated in a WGI judge's clinic at the Japan Regional featuring 50 color guards from Asia.

The Indiana House of Representatives congratulates the Warren Central High School Winter Guard and directs the Principal Clerk to transmit a copy of the resolution to each winter guard member, Director Jeff Wroblewski, Principal Rich Shepler, and Superintendent Dr. Dena Cushenberry.
