Indiana House of Representatives recognizes the Indiana State Bar Association Leadership Development Academy (LDA) and its mission to develop lawyers as informed, committed leaders in ethics and professionalism.

LDA Class of 2018 consists of 25 Indiana lawyers admitted to practice law for 15 years or less, representing the seventh annual class of the program.

LDA curriculum includes leadership principles, techniques, public service, economic development, government, military leadership, and diversity and inclusion topics, with instruction from Indiana Supreme Court Justices, Court of Appeals judges, legislators, and business and military leaders.

Principal theme of LDA is "Leadership begins with the attitude of a servant leader — to serve first, and out of service we are given the honor to lead."

Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives shall transmit a copy of this resolution to the Indiana State Bar Association Leadership Development Academy and members of the seventh annual class.
