Legislative Description

Prevention of sexual violence, domestic violence, and stalking. Requires each approved postsecondary educational institution to do the following: (1) Establish a comprehensive policy concerning sexual violence, domestic violence, and stalking (comprehensive policy). (2) Develop a concise notice, written in plain language, regarding the rights and options of students who are victims of sexual violence, domestic violence, or stalking and provide the notice to students from whom the approved postsecondary educational institution receives a report of a violation of the comprehensive policy. (3) Designate one or more individuals to serve as confidential advisors to provide emergency and ongoing support to students
