Agricultural supply dealer liens attach to crops produced within 490 days of purchase and to livestock consuming the feed, with livestock feed liens having priority over earlier perfected liens up to the difference between acquisition and fair market value.

Lien becomes effective upon purchase and must be perfected by filing a financing statement with the Indiana Secretary of State within 31 days to secure priority against subsequent liens and security interests.

Establishes that financial institutions that fail to respond to requests or provide complete financial history lose superior priority status, allowing agricultural supply dealers to enforce liens as provided in Indiana Code agricultural lien provisions.
